Anthony Beyer ‘s professional experience working in the field of computer programming extends back to the 1980’s. Anthony got his start in the field by programming 8bit computers in assembly/ machine language. He quickly became a leader in his field, responsible for programming, sound effects, and art for various interactive gaming projects. This allowed him to travel to different OEMS locations to develop new video gaming products that were innovative, generating excitement and capturing the interest of clients and consumers alike.
By the 1990’s Anthony Beyer was a sought after industry expert. Often acting as the producer of the projects he was working on, he developed a keen eye for detail and understood the “fun factor” that is necessary in order for games to be entertaining. Anthony also recognized talent. He knew that in order to remain successful, he would need to collaborate with up and coming professionals who were well versed in their respective fields. Soon, he assembled and led a talented team of engineers, artists, and animators. He found that personally assembling talent for each project, rendered fresh, exciting results. With the era of the “superstar” programmer all but over, Anthony migrated to being a Producer full time.
In the late 90’s Anthony Beyer embarked on a project that afforded him the opportunity to create game production departments for two startups; Metro Games and uWink.com. These were his first jobs as an executive producer where he led the initiative of putting together a department of 30+ engineers, artists, and animators. He enjoyed the process to become an executive, oftentimes looking back to reflect on the time he spent building his chops to reach an executive level in software engineering. One of Anthony’s fondest moments in his career is being one of the first engineers to use a PC platform in a casino gaming product. His team used the 286mhz on a Video Lottery Terminal at Arachnid Inc. Anthony is experienced in Xoces sales, LANMARK Education and High Probability Selling.
Today, Anthony Beyer has embarked on his latest tech venture; Hipnosis Studios where he develops mobile gaming applications for the Apple iOS. His team looks forward to releasing their first title during the 3rd quarter of 2014. during the 3rd quarter of 2014.during the 3rd quarter of 2014.
